Biography

Andy began his career with the Royal Air Force where he was an engineer on large transport type aircraft traveling extensively worldwide. After completing his RAF service, he qualified as a CAA licensed aircraft engineer. Andy worked for several years with British Airways as a Station Maintenance Manager and Duty Engineer. He holds a private pilot’s license. Andy joined McLarens Aviation in 2004 and has handled numerous major, major partial, general aviation, corporate, light aircraft, and helicopter losses including complex engine claims in Europe and Asia Pacific. Andy was the lead aviation surveyor handling the industry’s first major Hull loss involving an Airbus A380.
