Biography

Jason began his career as a staff adjuster in the field of Property Claims, with two major insurance carriers before transitioning to the IA role with a national independent adjusting firm.

Jason joined McLarens in 2015 as an Executive General Adjuster. Currently, Jason is a Vice President / Executive General Adjuster with a focus on Regional, National, and Global property accounts.

Upon joining the firm, Jason established the McLarens Hartford, Connecticut office. From recruiting team members, facilitating new business and honing branch operations, Jason built the McLarens Hartford Office.

With his years of commercial property claim experience, a background in finance, construction and the US military, Jason possesses a diverse skillset that has led to proven success within loss adjusting and commercial property account management.

Throughout his career, Jason has gained extensive experience with all manner of Property Damages, ensuing Business Income losses and Extra Expense, Hurricane, Tornado, Flood and myriad Catastrophe responses.

By establishing an effective adjustment team and claim process tailored to the needs of the client, Jason works to exceed the service expectations of his accounts. He fosters clear and open communication with all stakeholders from the onset of a complex claim. Managing expectations throughout the process, Jason strives for client satisfaction and appropriate claim outcomes.

Jason has the capabilities to manage complex quota-share and layered insurance programs, maintain detailed Bordereaux and track self-insured retention programs. He is an experienced appraiser and trial witness. Jason’s experience includes managing commercial property claim portfolios with Total Insured Values from $2 to $15 Billion.
