As a veteran of the U.S. Army, as well as with a bachelor’s degree in finance and risk management insurance from Florida State University, Rick Brown joined McLarens in 2020 to continue his distinguished career in the insurance industry. Previously, Rick had worked as a member of the Traveler’s Insurance Catastrophe Team for almost eight years after college, before transitioning to become an Independent Adjuster starting in 2011. Rick has handled everything from residential losses to large complex market claims including the agricultural, mixed-use, commercial spaces, hospitals, hotels, condominiums, energy plants, apartments, manufacturing facilities, and builder’s risk disciplines. Rick has been recognized in past positions for his excellent communication skills, and his commitment to the hard work that is necessary for complex losses.
