Stephen began in the industry in 1992 as desk liability adjuster. He then worked as an independent adjuster through 2003 where he handled multi-line adjusting to include commercial, residential, and TPA self-insured claims. In an evolving industry Stephen moved to vendor management where he was a Regional Manager at a cost engineering firm. There, he established a foot print in their managed claim repair program for a top 5 national insurer, where he directed and implemented vendor repair and adjuster claim program, handling best practices with insurance carrier regional executive team. Transitioning in 2005 to serve as Officer of Restoration Division start-up with a large established Commercial General Contractor, Stephen built a successful restoration arm of the company. Tapped to be Vice President in 2010 to grow and establish industry relationships of a high end market General Contractor, Stephen continued to drive business growth and practices handling large commercial and high net worth insurance claims while mentoring his permanent successor.
Extending his experience in 2013 through business development with a major Insurance Restoration Contractor, Stephen was a sought after specialist assisting Carrier representatives in complex and contested damages. This led him full circle in 2016 where he returned to direct insurance claims handling with his own independent consulting and adjusting company. Stephen has since worked with carriers in large loss complex commercial, farm and residential as a complex claim specialist handling the western United States.
