Mary graduated from University of Limerick with a bachelors degree in Equine Science with a Business Major in 1999. She commenced her career in insurance in 1999 working in the claims department of a large domestic insurer where she handled a range of claims including motor, employers and public liability claims.
In 2008 Mary took up the role as a Claims Liability Adjuster with a Liability Adjusting firm based in Cork. She has maintained her specialism as a casualty loss adjuster since and has held various roles including Regional Manager.
Mary is an active member of the Insurance Institute of Cork Council and was President of the Insurance Institute of Cork for 2024/2025.
Throughout her time in the industry, Mary has demonstrated strength and experience in the handling and investigation of various claim types including large complex losses.
Mary joined the Casualty Team in McLarens in January 2026 as an Executive Adjuster and holds the ACII qualification and a Certificate in Health and Safety.
