Prior to moving to adjusting, Patsy was the Senior Leader of the Risk Management and Claims Department for a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Primary Relationship Manager for all external insurance brokers and underwriters. Managed a team of two risk professionals to achieve higher performance. Closely collaborated with legal counsel on claims management and settlements and virtual mediation attendance on behalf of the company. Spearheaded, developed, and administered the Company’s risk management programs to protect its assets at the most cost-efficient rate and aligned with strategic objectives, identifying loss exposures and mitigating risks. Partnered with the Legal Department and third-party claims administrators to manage and coordinate a wide array of property and casualty claims, including injury, property damage, worker’s compensation, and construction claims.
