Draft Sale and Purchase Agreement
Subsequent to the aircraft being offered for sale on an as is where is basis the operator has received a request from the Nigerian AIB to remove the left main landing gear and forward it to them for metallurgical analysis. We are trying to clarify what this will entail as far as the gear is concerned and when it will be returned. Answers to these questions are still pending. For the purposes of the sale we must therefore confirm that whilst we hope the landing gear will be returned to the aircraft in its current condition we cannot guarantee this. In good faith we need to highlight this change in situation in so far as the left main landing gear is concerned.
Please note that we do not have any electronic aircraft or engine records available. However, these will be available for inspection at Abuja, Nigeria.
