Chartered Loss Adjuster Agrical is short-listed for three industry awards

Chartered Loss Adjuster Agrical has been short-listed for three inaugural industry awards which recognise excellence in loss adjusting.  The winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on 13 November 2012 at the Royal Garden Hotel, London.

Agrical’s been shortlisted for: ‘Best Overall Service in Commodity-type Claims’; ‘Best Response to Surge Events’; and ‘Best Supply Chain Management’.  The short-list has been determined from the Loss Adjusters Insight 360 Survey results which are based on a questionnaire sent to claims handling specialists at insurance companies and broking firms*.  Respondents are asked to grade the adjusters they’ve dealt with in the last year and from this the rankings are calculated.  The firms achieving the highest score in each category will earn the relevant award.

Nigel Collinson, Agrical’s managing director said: “It’s great to be recognised and shortlisted for these three awards – it’s testament to the level of service we’re providing to insurance companies, brokers and the policy holders.  We’ve built our reputation on quality, innovation and performance.”

In the last ten years Agrical, which was established in 2002, has doubled its staff to 57, tripled its turnover, which is now approaching £4 million and quadrupled its client base to over 30.  A leader in its field, the company hasn’t stood still; it’s evolved as well as grown – using its core business expertise in the farms and estate sector to branch out into private clients, commercial and leisure.

Nigel Collinson explained: ““Our core business is agriculture related claims but we’ve moved into markets with similar characteristics and seen our client base grow.  Over the last ten years land use has diversified with a change in focus to leisure or other alternatives, such as renewable energy schemes.  We’ve kept pace with these changes making sure we have the expertise to respond to claims in these diversified arenas.  We’ve also looked to the premium products offered by the insurance companies and moved into these markets. The development of our Private Clients division is an indication of how this can work successfully for us.”

This is the first year for the Loss Adjusting Awards which have been created by Incisive Media, which publishes Post Magazine, Post Online and Insurance Age.
