Aimee started her career in the claims industry in 2016 with Gallagher Bassett as an administration assistant for the Tamworth Head office. In March 2017, Aimee was promoted to a Level 2 Claims Adjuster. This role included reviewing new claims, making liability decisions on the evidence available and obtaining further evidence required to support our stance. Reviewing heads of claim presented such as vehicle damage, credit hire and loss of earnings and ensuring supporting documentation had been provided before raising payments to settle the claims.
In September 2019 Aimee was promoted to a Level 3 Claims Adjuster and her authority level increased enabling her to handle higher value Motor claims. Aimee also started to handle personal injury claims for the motor claims including bus passenger claims and third party driver and passenger claims.
Aimee was also responsible for extra tasks on the account to support her team leader including being responsible for the Fraud log, credit hire report, and SIU Exception Report. Aimee was also responsible for ensuring the invoices received from the client solicitors were processed and settled correctly and in a timely manner.
