Alan has extensive experience handling major property and engineering claims, including those arising from fire, flood, typhoon, civil disturbance, and construction-related incidents. His work spans the full claims lifecycle, from initial investigation and technical assessment through to quantification, reporting, and resolution, consistently delivering clear, practical, and commercially sound outcomes.
Based in Hong Kong, Alan works closely with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and technical experts to manage multi-party claims and support efficient claim resolution. He is recognised for his analytical approach, strong technical capability, and ability to provide well-reasoned and defensible reports in complex and high-pressure environments.

Alan holds a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Graduate Diploma in Insurance, and a Master of Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
