Before joining McLarens, Alissa worked as an insurance defense attorney for over twenty years representing insurers and corporate clients in complex, high-exposure matters, involving product liability, construction negligence and premises liability. Alissa began her career at insurance-defense law firms and then moved in-house for CNA Insurance and Cincinnati Insurance, developing a deep expertise in claims reporting with liability and coverage analyses.
Alissa’s legal background informs a thoughtful, strategic approach to claims handling, particularly in situations where risk exposure and reputational stakes are high. Throughout her career as an attorney, Alissa worked closely with insurers, brokers, and policyholders to navigate claims from initial response through successful resolution.
