Biography

From 1977 to 1999 Tony has worked in Private Practice for Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers, primarily dealing with new housing and commercial developments as part of a design team. His main roles were the design and drafting of reinforced concrete and steel framed structures.

Tony moved to the Insurance sector in 1999 (Cameron Durley) dealing with domestic subsidence claims from cradle to grave. In 2010 after joining Merlin he became more involved with general perils working within the in house surveying team assisting the in house Loss Adjusters with high value and more complex claims.

In 2015 Tony moved from the Insurance industry to the Charity sector, spending two years with the the Salvation Army (SATCoL) managing the maintenance needs for a portfolio of 250 charity shops across the UK.

He moved back into the Insurance sector in 2017, briefly working as a surveyor for a contractor dealing with Insurance claims before moving to TBRN in 2018 where he returned to a surveying/claims handling role.
