Brian Milem has been providing forensic accounting, valuation, and adjustment services to insurance industry clients for more than 30 years. Having worked at both public accounting and independent adjusting firms, he has acquired extensive experience in the analysis and resolution of property, liability, and fidelity claims.
His accounting evaluations have focused on business interruption, extra expense and other complex damage calculations including those used in determining losses for specialty insurance coverage such as builder’s risk and product recall.
Brian has analyzed a broad range of businesses, industries, and markets for a variety of claim professionals, attorneys and CAT teams handling thousands of claims resulting from earthquakes, 9/11, hurricanes and similar catastrophic events.
He has given expert testimony by deposition and at trial in federal and state courts in addition to his valuation experience in litigation support, appraisal, and other ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) services on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
