After graduating from the Iberoamericana University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Carlos has held various positions in major construction companies, including serving as a project manager for some of the largest construction projects in Mexico and taking on other relevant roles related to the planning and design of urban communication projects to improve Mexico’s transportation systems.
He has over 20 years of experience as a loss adjuster. Carlos has participated in the most significant claims in Mexico’s energy and engineering markets. He has surveyed and managed major claims in the Natural Resources Sector, primarily related to Onshore and Offshore Physical Damage, Control of Well, Power Generation, Construction All Risk, and Liability claims. He is currently responsible for managing the Natural Resources division. Additionally, he has led engineering and adjusting teams in response to major disasters in Mexico, including the 2017 earthquakes and the major hurricanes that have occurred in recent years, mainly assisting government entities and addressing damages to critical infrastructure in the hydraulic, road, and urban sectors.
Carlos is fluent in both Spanish and English. He has continued his academic development, completing a Master’s degree in Engineering from Iberoamericana University as well as a Master’s and Doctorate in Finance.
