Danny started his aviation career with Malaysia Airlines in 1992 and after a stint in AST Scotland, obtained his UK CAA B1 license. He was then employed as a contracted License Aircraft Engineer with SIAEC, SASCO as well as AirAsia before spending 10 years with Etihad Airways, obtaining his GCAA license type rated on A320/A330/B737NG/B747/B777/B787 aircraft. In 2019 he joined Airbus Services Asia Pacific TSP as a Maintenance Representative managing Singapore Airlines’ A330 fleet lease returns. From 2020 onwards, he has been an independent Technical Consultant representing numerous aircraft lessors for re-deliveries, return of lease and pre-purchase inspections for commercial aircraft. In 2023, Danny became a Senior Principal Engineer holding the Duty Manager Engineering position to manage Scoot’s B787 aircraft operations before joining McLarens Aviation.
