Darren began his insurance career in 2017 with a leading New Zealand insurer as a Claims Consultant. He progressed to Senior Claims Consultant, specializing in Private Vehicle, Domestic Home & Contents, and Pleasurecraft claims, with experience in complex fraud, methampetamine contamination, and large losses.
In 2021, Darren became a Subject Matter Expert during the Earthquake Commission’s (EQC) transition to private insurers, helping develop new claims processes while managing EQC claims. He joined McLarens in 2022 as a Commercial Claims Technician and was promoted to Commercial Loss Adjuster in 2023.
In early 2025, he relocated to Melbourne, bringing his loss adjusting expertise to the Australian market, where he now manages a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance claims.
