After completing a graduate trainee programme with British Steel which involved the investigation of liability and all risks claims, as well as risk management surveying, Iain commenced his loss adjusting career with Crawford & Company in Newcastle-upon-Tyne handling a caseload of Employers and Public Liability claims for Lloyds, Corporate, and Local Authority clients. Moving to Garwyn Group, Iain continued to develop expertise with a mixed caseload of liability injury, disease, third party property damage, and products liability claims. Iain progressed his career over an eight-year period with Garwyn, being appointed Branch Manager at their Durham office, before returning to Crawford with Specialist Liability Services.
With Specialist Liability Services, Iain progressed to Branch Manager roles at both the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Glasgow offices, whilst maintaining a portfolio of primarily complex personal injury, occupational disease, and products liability cases. With ongoing account management involvement, Iain moved from an operational role to Technical Manager, being responsible for the technical referrals and high value report checking for the adjuster teams in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland regions.
After 14 years with Crawford, Iain moved to McLarens, based in the North East of England. Working as a key nominated adjuster on the Family Entertainment Centre Mutual account, Iain has quickly developed his decades-long experience with sports and leisure claims to present a strong offering on a wide range of leisure activities including trampoline parks, go kart tracks, soft play, inflatables, and water parks.
