Jeff launched his career in the insurance industry over 25 years ago as a Claims Specialist with Farmers Insurance in Michigan. Over 18 years with the organization, he developed deep expertise in property claims, including extensive experience managing catastrophe losses and participating in hurricane deployments across multiple regions.
He later advanced to the role of Claims Supervisor within the property division, where he led a team of adjusters handling complex property losses. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Jeff has held field management roles in the Minnesota and Wisconsin markets and served as a Property Consultant, further broadening his technical and operational perspective. His experience also extends into liability, having worked closely with underwriting teams at Farmers.
Throughout his career, Jeff has been recognized for delivering exceptional customer service and consistently navigating the challenges of claims handling across diverse jurisdictions. His experience across the nation has given him a strong understanding of regional differences and regulatory nuances.
Jeff holds a degree from Grand Valley State University and has earned the Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations through The Institutes, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and continued learning.
