Joel is a qualified Chartered Accountant who started his accounting career in Australia, in the insolvency accounting industry. He honed his skills in corporate insolvency for four years before moving to an international loss adjusting firm in Melbourne as a forensic accountant and loss adjuster. In the six years as a forensic accountant and loss adjuster, Joel worked on matters including but not limited to large and complex business interruption, stock, product liability, fidelity and class action matters. Joel also managed a team of forensic accountants specialising in high volume, low quantum business interruption assignments, prior to joining McLarens in April 2021.
