Biography

He began his professional career in the insurance industry in 2020, shortly after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer. Since then, he has built a solid track record in loss adjusting, starting with comprehensive training across multiple areas of the sector. This early experience provided him with a broad understanding of the business and allowed him to later specialize in engineering claims, catastrophic events, and overall property loss management.

  • Hurricane IOTA, San Andrés Islands (2021) First response adjuster following the event. Conducted initial inspection visits and adjusted multiple losses on site.
  • Hurricane OTIS, Acapulco (2023) Led the adjustment of mechanical and electrical losses at the Acapulco International Airport.
  • Mining Dredge Overturn, El Bagre, Colombia (Year unspecified) Adjusted the loss involving the capsizing of a mining dredge, which resulted in total asset loss and three fatalities.
  • Colombian National Riot, Bucaramanga (2023) Handled extensive damage to public transportation infrastructure, including buses, buildings, and stations.
  • Frontera Energy Facility Incident, Colombia (2024) Adjusted major property damage after local trespassers destroyed critical infrastructure.
  • Gas Gibraltar Fire, Saravena, Colombia (2025) Managed claim involving fire damage to the hot oil processing area of a gas processing plant.
  • Ocensa & Cenit Pipeline Claims (Multiple Years) Oversaw multiple claims related to pipeline ruptures, landslides, and guerrilla attacks.
