Kamil Ismam graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Master (MSc) in Risk Management and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a Bachelor Degree in Insurance. He currently pursuing his Associateship of The Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) Level 2 to fully equipped himself with insurance technicalities and skills.
He commenced his career in Loss Adjusting in 2017 until 2022 with an international loss adjusting firm. He then joined an insurance company as Underwriter under Retail Business segment and subsequently joined McLarens in September 2023.
Throughout his years in this industry, he has vast experience and exposures in handling various types of claims in non-motor/general claims which encompass property, financial, fidelity guarantee, public liability, explosion, engineering, plant and machinery, equipment as well as other miscellaneous classes of insurance for personal, commercial, and industrial losses.
He has in-depth experiences and exposures in handling catastrophe losses mainly in catastrophe flood calamities, as he has been involved in almost yearly occasion of flooding since his tenure.
