CH Lam is Managing Director of McLarens Malaysia, leading the firm’s operations, client relationships, business development, and technical service delivery across the country.
With more than 25 years of loss adjusting experience, CH began his career in the financial services sector before transitioning into loss adjusting in 1998. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide range of complex and high-value losses across property, casualty, telecommunications, engineering, manufacturing, agriculture, financial lines, and specialty risks. He is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF (Australia) and a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA).
Since joining McLarens Malaysia in March 2023, CH has played a key leadership role in strengthening the firm’s presence and capabilities in the Malaysian market. Working closely with colleagues across the region, he has helped drive business growth, expand client engagement, develop technical talent, and enhance McLarens’ reputation for delivering high-quality claims solutions across a broad range of industries.
As Managing Director, CH is focused on building a high-performing team, fostering strong insurer and broker partnerships, and supporting clients through complex and significant loss events. His leadership combines deep technical expertise with a commitment to developing people, delivering exceptional client service, and advancing McLarens’ long-term growth strategy in Malaysia and the wider region.
