Liam first started within the industry when he joined Carpenters Solicitors in 2017, Carpenters would be outsourced via Hastings Direct to which he started as a first response handler then proceeding onto claims customer service and total loss. Within Carpenters he became a senior handler within the company which allowed him to provide training and floor support to new starters and colleagues. After a couple years of dealing with AD claims he would move to the liability in dispute team to which my day-to-day role would consist of dealing with both sides of the claim and handling the file until the claim was settled via litigation or pre-litigation.
In January 2021 Liam opted to leave Carpenters and join Acorn Insurance to which he became a member of the 14 day liability team and deal with claims on behalf of Haven Insurance, Within the role he dealt with Liability, Front end mitigating of losses & personal injury claims, during his time at Acorn Liam became a senior handler and would support my team leader with audit reviews, training new starters and also providing assistance within the team when required.
