Hoang Xuan Linh is a highly experienced Marine Manager and Senior Loss Adjuster with over 28 years of expertise in marine cargo surveys, casualty investigations, and claims handling across Vietnam and the wider region. He brings extensive technical knowledge in complex, high-value marine losses, regularly working with international insurers, P&I Clubs, law firms, and recovery agents.
Linh holds a degree in Economics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and has completed multiple professional certifications in insurance loss assessment and legal frameworks. He began his career in surveying and inspection, progressing through senior roles with leading organisations including PICO, CASPECT, and Nippon Kaiji Kentei (Vietnam), where he handled cargo damage surveys for major international underwriters.
Since joining McLarens Vietnam in 2008, Linh has played a key role in developing the company’s marine capabilities. Appointed Marine Manager in 2010, he leads marine cargo surveys and loss investigations for both domestic and international clients. His expertise spans cargo damage assessment, third-party liability, stock throughput policies, recovery and subrogation, and complex marine casualty investigations.
