Biography

Mark began his aviation career with Qantas Airways. After having qualified as an Australian LAME he continued to work for Qantas for seven years in Sydney and Brisbane. Mark then moved back to New Zealand where he further expanded his career with regional airlines who operated Beech 1900, BAE Jetstream 32 and Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft. Mark was then relocated to Australia where he held responsible manager positions overseeing the operations of Beech 1900D, Saab 340 and Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft. He holds both New Zealand and Australian LAME qualifications. Within his 16 years in the aviation industry he has experience in project management, pre-purchase inspections, Aircraft import and export, as well as being actively involved in setting up Part 145 Maintenance organisations.
