Muhammad Hazim Mohamad is a Construction & Engineering Loss Adjuster with a civil engineering background and practical experience across construction, infrastructure maintenance, structural inspection, manufacturing and oil & gas operations. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours, he combines technical engineering knowledge with specialist loss adjusting expertise to deliver informed and practical claim assessments.
Since commencing his loss adjusting career in 2022, Hazim has developed experience in the investigation and assessment of construction, engineering, property, heavy equipment, and third-party property damage claims. His assignments have involved a broad range of losses including construction project damage, machinery breakdown, utility strikes, theft of installed works, and heavy equipment fire losses.
Prior to entering the insurance industry, Hazim worked in engineering and infrastructure environments, undertaking bridge maintenance, structural inspections, and piping works within oil and gas refinery operations. This practical site-based experience provides him with a strong understanding of construction methodologies, asset integrity, engineering systems, and project risks, enabling him to effectively analyse causation, scope damage, and evaluate repair methodologies.
Hazim works closely with insurers, contractors, engineers, and insureds to investigate losses and deliver clear, technically sound outcomes. He is recognised for his analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex engineering issues into practical and well-supported claim recommendations.
