Biography

Paul was previously educated at Salford University, obtaining a BA Honors in 2010 before moving into a successful career in insurance. During this time, Paul has completed the CII Diploma and CILA Diploma and currently studying to become a chartered loss adjuster. He has also been awarded the CILA Young Achiever award.

Paul’s previous roles began as a motor claims handler at a leading Insurers and was promoted to handle high net worth vacation insurance claims for a leading bank. From these roles he built the experience required to move into his passion of dealing with property and commercial insurance claims and undertook his certificate in insurance studies.

During his time as a commercial claims handler for a large commercial insurer, Paul discovered the role and needs of a loss adjuster and began his career in loss adjusting in 2016 for a large Commercial and Domestic loss adjusting practice. Paul spent 18 months developing within the office before he was promoted to loss adjuster.

Following a successful 2.5 years developing as an external loss adjuster and undertaking further studies, Paul finally secured a role at McLarens and is progressing to become a Chartered Loss Adjuster.

NOTABLE ASSIGNMENTS

  • Storm Ciara / Dennis – resulting in up to 15 visits a week for several months to Major flood damaged areas across the North of the UK. Each claim required to be carefully managed up to £100,000 in value per property / business
  • Cheshire High net worth property escape of water (£95,000)
  • Major equipment breakdown and business interruption claim (£85,000)
  • Several domestic and commercial fire claims up to £100,000 in value
