With a career spanning over three decades in the insurance industry, Paul has gained extensive experience in both claims handling and operational leadership. Since entering the sector in 1989, he has developed deep technical expertise in handling a wide range of claims. He has managed complex, high-value claims portfolios including multinational risks across Property, Medical Malpractice, Clinical Negligence, Environmental, Product Liability, Subsidence, and General Liability – often involving multi-million-pound Major and Complex Losses.
In addition to technical claims handling, Paul has held senior operational and management roles with responsibility for leading teams at both local and national levels. This has included budget management, recruitment, staff development, training and mentoring, as well as account management and overseeing service delivery in line with strict KPI and SLA requirements.
