Polina began her career in the insurance industry in 2003 in Ukraine after spending seven years as a physical education teacher. She started in insurance sales before transitioning to claims in 2005. Over the years, she progressively advanced her career through commercial and personal lines claims, handling a wide range of auto, property, and casualty losses.
In 2019, Polina relocated to Canada, leaving behind her role as Executive Director of an adjusting company in Ukraine, a position she had held for more than seven years.
In Canada, she completed Humber College’s Post-Graduate Insurance Management Program, complementing her Master of Finance, Bachelor of Accounting, and Bachelor of Sports and Rehabilitation degrees. She earned the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and obtained full all-lines adjuster licences in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.
Polina’s Canadian claims career began with an independent adjusting firm before she joined Intact Insurance as a Property Claims Adjuster, initially in a desk-based role and later as a Field Adjuster. In 2024, she joined a leading Lloyd’s market third-party administrator, where she served as a Casualty Examiner and progressed to a senior-level position.
