Biography

Scot has years of experience managing property and casualty losses, to include both large and complex claims relative to size and coverage analysis. Though based in Austin, Texas, he is licensed in twenty-nine additional states. His areas of specific experience and skill include Building and Construction, Business Interruption, Churches, Construction Liability & Defect, Retail Risks, Schools, along with Self-Insured Retention Programs. He has direct experience with diverse multi-million dollar programs.

As a graduate of Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge), Scot holds a Cum Laude Bachelors of Arts degree and is currently near completion of a CPCU candidacy. He has attended numerous training programs involving assessment of property damage and loss of income associated with loss adjustments. In addition, he holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation. Scot is actively involved in the risk & insurance industry as a member of the Austin Claims Association, as well as the Association of London Brokers.

Scot has handled numerous large and complex losses involving commercial property, including schools, churches, manufacturing plants, hotels, and golf courses.
