Winston has a broad experience as a multi-line claims adjuster with a specialty in marine and transit claims. His responsibilities include field investigations, cargo surveying (commodities – all kinds), on- scene investigation and control, interpreting marine shipping documents, establishing loss reserves, preparing custom reports, preparing reservation of rights and denial correspondences, loss adjusting / negotiating settlement, subrogation, controlling litigation management and utilization of consultants and experts. Manage salvage recovery and sale.
Winston has a thorough knowledge of insurance policy interpretation and its application to tort law and loss adjustment compliance with insurance regulations. He works closely as a liaison on claim programs with domestic and foreign brokers, managing general agents and Lloyds underwriters by offering direct loss adjustment services, listening to client needs, and fixing quality problems.
