Adhi Buana Putra Yulisman is the Head of Liability & Specialties for McLarens Indonesia, bringing over 10 years’ experience managing major and complex insurance claims across Indonesia and the wider region. Holding dual degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from Swiss German University and Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, Germany, Adhi combines a strong engineering background with extensive technical expertise in multi-line loss adjusting.
Adhi specialises in the investigation and management of technically complex property, liability, construction and engineering, oil and gas, and aviation claims. His portfolio includes major losses across paper and tissue manufacturing facilities, upstream and midstream oil and gas operations, aviation hull and liability exposures, complex construction and erection projects, and large-scale industrial fire and flood incidents. Combining engineering expertise with extensive loss adjusting experience, he manages the full claims lifecycle, including investigation, causation analysis, policy interpretation, quantum assessment, stakeholder management, and claim resolution.
As Head of Liability & Specialties, Adhi provides technical leadership across McLarens Indonesia’s specialist liability and technical claims portfolio. Working closely with insurers, brokers, insureds, engineers, legal representatives, and industry experts, he oversees the management of complex, high-value assignments while supporting the continued development of technical capability within the business.
Adhi is recognised for his analytical approach, engineering expertise, and ability to navigate technically demanding, multi-party claims. His practical understanding of complex industrial operations, combined with clear communication and commercially focused recommendations, enables him to deliver well-reasoned outcomes on some of Indonesia’s most significant insurance losses. Beyond claims management, Adhi is an active contributor to the insurance profession, presenting at industry events on technical claims topics and sharing practical insights with insurers and industry professionals.
