Christopher began his career in the insurance industry in 2011, following the completion of his Bachelor of Science degree (2006–2010).
He started as a desk-based Claims Consultant for a leading domestic home insurance company, managing a wide range of buildings and contents claims. He later transitioned into a claim crime prevention role, serving as a technical referral point within the department.
In 2015, Christopher joined a nationally recognized insurance brokerage as a claims portfolio handler, where he honed his expertise in claims management and high-net worth / commercial policies.
Thereafter, he began his route into Loss Adjusting in 2018 where he worked at a marine claims’ consultancy as Claims Adjuster based in the South of the UK. In a mixture of both desk and field-based work, this role involved claims of varying complexity across the world and is where he encountered his first Major and Complex Losses.
In 2020, he moved to GHG (formerly The Graham High Group) as a Loss Adjuster, managing both domestic and commercial claims.
Within these roles, through business development and client relationships, he was listed as the nominated primary adjuster on several key accounts held.
In 2022, Christopher joined McLarens UK, where he currently serves as an Executive Adjuster, within the Major and Complex (Southwest) department.
He was part of a catastrophe response team deployed to the UAE in April 2024 to assist with the severe storm and widespread flooding that occurred. During this event, he handled many urgent and severe losses as a result of the storm, providing vital assistance to insurers and affected parties.
With approximately 14 years of experience in the insurance industry, 7 of which have been in Loss Adjusting, Christopher has been involved in a diverse range of Domestic, Commercial, High-Net-Worth, and Major & Complex Loss claims, and over that time, has developed his skills and knowledge, producing the best outcome for all parties involved.
