Lynn has over 30 years’ experience in the Insurance and Customer Service Industry. She previously worked as an Underwriter for Legal and General and managed customer relations at Direct Line for over 12 years, before joining McLarens in early 2019.
Lynn has considerable experience in Financial Services, Audit & Compliance and Client Development, across both commercial and personal lines businesses.
Lynn joined McLarens as UK & Ireland Compliance Manager, which included managing complaints and dispute resolution, QA audits, compliance and due diligence oversights and writing, reviewing, and proofing policy documentation, as well as MI and regulatory responsibilities. The role encompassed client relationship management, liaison for external Auditors, managing compliance matters across UK and Ireland and being the focal point in Global Compliance activities working closely with Group Legal.
Fully conversant as a trainer and coach, Lynn played a key role in undertaking staff inductions.
In 2024, Lynn moved into the role of UK Client Development Lead, drawing on her extensive experience in strategic account management along with stakeholder engagement. Her primary focus is on retaining, expanding, and strengthening partnerships with key Insurer clients whilst identifying new opportunities for growth. This role was ideal for Lynn who possesses a personal approach, strong and empathetic communication skills, and a commitment to working collaboratively whilst consistently driving meaningful and lasting connections.
Lynn’s professional achievements are recognised externally. She was the proud winner of the Women in Insurance Awards in 2020 and a finalist in 2022.
