MCLARENS APPOINTS CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER TO SUPPORT GLOBAL GROWTH AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

ATLANTA – MAY 2025: Global claims services provider McLarens has strengthened its Executive C-suite with the appointment of Shoukat Ali Bhamani to the newly created global role of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Shoukat will join McLarens’ Global Management Team (GMT) and report directly to CEO, Gary Brown.

Shoukat will be responsible for defining and delivering McLarens’ IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm’s ambitious growth objectives. He will oversee the global IT organisation, focusing on strengthening ERP systems, enhancing data infrastructure, and advancing the company’s analytics capabilities. A key priority will be driving operational resilience and supporting the delivery of superior client outcomes through innovative technology and data solutions.

Bringing over 20 years of international experience in digital transformation and enterprise technology leadership, Shoukat is known for building high-performing, business-aligned technology teams. His track record includes leading complex, multi-region IT functions at organisations such as Luk, Schaeffler, and Serta Simmons Bedding, with a focus on ERP modernisation, process optimisation, business integration, and advancements in AI and analytics.

He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, an MSME from McGill University, and a BSME from NED University. He has been honoured with the CIO of the Year ORBiE Award.
