Appointment reflects regional ambition and McLarens’ commitment to an integrated EMEA operation
LONDON – SEPTEMBER 2026: Global claims services provider McLarens has appointed Ollie Waterman as Regional Director – Middle East, effective 1 October 2026. Ollie succeeds Malcolm Addy, who will retire at the end of the year after playing a pivotal role in building McLarens’ Middle East presence.
Ollie has served as Commercial Development Director – Middle East and will assume his new responsibilities, having already established strong foundations across the region. He will be supported by Mahesh Ganesan, Operations Director – Middle East, who continues to drive operational excellence and consistency across McLarens’ regional platform.
A Chartered Loss Adjuster, Ollie built his career handling major and complex losses in the London market before relocating to Dubai with a global adjusting firm in 2022. There, he rose to Head of Property for the Middle East, taking responsibility for large losses across the region alongside financial management and team leadership, before joining McLarens.
In his new role, Ollie will assume overall responsibility for the Middle East, with a focus on McLarens’ core practice areas: property and casualty, construction and engineering, and marine and speciality lines, working alongside McLarens Aviation and Lloyd Warwick International (LWI) operations in the region. He will also serve as a bridge between the Middle East operation and McLarens’ London and broader EMEA teams – a key priority for the business as it focuses on building a more connected, integrated operation across the region under EMEA Managing Director Steven Wallace.
