McLarens Aviation expands Middle East and Africa team

McLarens Aviation, the leading provider of survey and loss adjusting services to the global aviation industry, has expanded its Middle East and Africa team with the appointment Ian Van Jaarsveld in Abu Dhabi and Charmaine Clarke in Johannesburg.

Ian Van Jaarsveld is a certified and licensed aircraft maintenance engineer who joins the team from South African Airways (SAA), where he spent ten years in a range of technical roles. His experience includes overseeing heavy maintenance checks at SAA’s Johannesburg base and on line operations at Cape Town International Airport. Ian brings a broad range of skills to the team including expertise in a number of major aircraft including the Airbus A319/A320/A321 and A340, as well as the Boeing B737-7/800 family. He joins McLarens Aviation as an Aircraft Surveyor.

Prior to joining McLarens Aviation, Charmaine Clarke held a managerial position at a flying academy in the Northern Cape and holds a private pilot’s license. She brings to the business an excellent working knowledge of general aviation in the region. Charmaine joins McLarens Aviation as a Technical Support Assistant.
