McLarens Commitment to Regional Growth in the Middle East & Africa (MEA)

As we continue to expand our footprint in the Middle East and Africa, our goal is to further enhance the high-quality service and strong commitments that we offer our clients in the region. McLarens has gained a strong reputation in the Middle East, led by Regional Director Mike Barnes, for its dependability in the claims handling service and in its attention to our clients’ interests.

United Arab Emirates

We are pleased to announce that Andrew Brown (ACII, FCILA), is our new Country Manager in the UAE. Andrew, who previously set up our operations in Brazil, will be based in our Abu Dhabi office to handle claims both in UAE and at a Regional level throughout the Middle East and Africa. He will also spearhead our growth in the UAE to include an additional office in Dubai. Andrew has extensive experience over a broad spectrum of losses during his 25 years of claims handling throughout the UK, Americas and now in our MEA region. Andrew’s expertise includes high value technical claims in the fields of power generation, oil and gas, construction and general property and he has handled many claims under casualty, political violence, specie and financial institutions.

Qatar

We’ve opened a new office in Doha, Qatar overseen by Naveen Saldanha, Country Manager. Naveen is an experienced technical loss adjuster with more than 18 years’ experience in the Middle East, to include Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, where he was a key staff member in our Al Khobar office. Naveen will work with our regional team to boost Qatar operations with particular emphasis on power generation, oil and gas, construction, and general property losses.

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

We continue to strengthen our strong operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and are pleased to announce the transfer of Brendan Gallagher from our office in Glasgow, United Kingdom to join our team in Jeddah, which is led by Fayez Khader, Country Manager. Brendan has extensive experience in major property loss claims handling and will work with the existing team which is currently handling some of the biggest property portfolio losses experienced in the Kingdom.
We are continuing to strengthen our operations and further announcements can be anticipated in the near future.
