McLarens Continues Global TPA Expansion

International adjusting company recruits six-strong team of senior TPA specialists.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – 27 JULY 2021: Leading global insurance services provider McLarens has further strengthened its Third-Party Administration (TPA) offering with the appointment of a team of senior TPA specialists. Based in London and reporting into Global Head of TPA, Kirsten Early, the six-strong team holds an average of 20 years’ experience and will support the continued development of McLarens’ TPAcapabilities at an international level.

All are recognised experts within the TPA market, bringing extensive experience of working with brokers, insurers, MGAs, captives, and corporates worldwide, including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients, in the delivery of large scale, outsourced claims management programmes. The move follows the recent appointment of Kirsten Early, who joined the business in May to spearhead the strategic expansion of McLarens TPA, building upon the company’s existing proposition to develop a truly global service focussed on quality, specialist expertise and data-driven solutions.

Jason O’Sullivan has joined as Head of Global TPA Development. Jason will lead sales across McLarens TPA and has spent 15 years specialising in the sector, having held senior business development roles at the likes of Gallagher Bassett and Crawford, most recently as Director of Sales at Broadspire.

Matt Morling has joined as Head of TPA Client Services. He has 30 years industry experience and has specialised in the TPA sector since 1994. Matt has worked across the insurance, reinsurance and corporate markets, in addition to holding senior client services roles within a specialist motor TPA and, most recently, with Broadspire as Director of Client Services.

Paul Sturges ACII FCILA has joined as Head of Global TPA Accounts.  Paul has nearly 40 years industry experience, having commenced his career in commercial loss adjusting. He is an expert in developing claims management solutions for international and corporate clients and joins from Broadspire where he was Director of Global Accounts.

Johanna Mulley has joined as Head of TPA Analytics & Solutions. She also joins from Broadspire, having begun her career with McLarens in 1994, and is an expert in managing international programmes, with a focus on overseeing programme administration, quality control, data analytics, system management and the provision of management information and business intelligence.

Karla Ward and Cassie Watts join as Global TPA Programme Manager and TPA Programme Manager respectively. Both have over 15 years’ industry experience and specialise in the implementation and management of multinational claims programmes.

Kirsten Early, Global Head of TPA, commented: “These hires are about building strength at a senior level. In an insurance world increasingly dominated by globalisation and consolidation, international claims handling is a sophisticated business demanding the expertise and experience of highly skilled and innovative practitioners. We’re focussed on delivering quality outcomes for our clients and we will do this by hand picking the best experts in the industry. I’m delighted to welcome this team of trusted market leaders to McLarens.”

Jason O’Sullivan, Head of Global TPA Development, added: “We’re very happy to be joining the McLarens’ family and we have ambitious plans for the team. McLarens is growing rapidly and has made the strategic decision to expand its global TPA proposition. We will work to deliver a seamless, single worldwide platform, offering solutions that are designed and built for an ever-evolving market, and we can do so because of the depth and breadth of McLarens’ global reach and technical expertise.”
