Rebrand marks culmination of integration into the McLarens Group
ATLANTA, SEPTEMBER 2022: McLarens company, MGB Claims Consultants Inc. (MGB Claims) has rebranded as McLarens Canada a year on from its acquisition by the global insurance services provider, marking the culmination of MGB Claims’ integration into the McLarens Group.
In August 2021, McLarens acquired MGB Claims, expanding its North America claims and loss adjusting division, and adding multi-faceted complex loss management expertise and technical skills to McLarens’ existing aviation and natural resources operations in Canada. The acquisition cemented McLarens’ market leadership in North America and provided a platform for growth both in the Canadian domestic market and internationally. The firm’s three founding principals, Shawn Malik, James Giffen and Shawn Burnett, have remained at the helm of the Canadian business, and will operate as top executives within McLarens Canada. As McLarens Canada (dba McLarens), the team intends to leverage the McLarens name and global network to support strategic growth and recruitment, both domestically, and in international markets.
Headquartered in Toronto with additional employees in Vancouver, McLarens Canada offers a team of more than 30 experienced adjusters and support personnel, specializing in complex, commercial and specialty insurance lines including: Property & Casualty; Professional and Commercial General Liability; Cyber; Medical Liability; Energy & Natural Resources; Environmental; and Film & Entertainment.
