He has also held a number of prominent positions within the aviation sector, including Chief of the Airspace Control Operational Safety Advisory, and Brigadier in the Brazilian Air Force. This second office supports the long established Brazilian head office in Sao Paulo and its team of three aviation surveyors, headed by Fernando Rodrigues.

Mexico: Mario Campos has joined Airclaims’ Mexico team of five aviation surveyors. Mario will be based in the company’s Mexico City office, which has been serving the region for over two decades and is headed by Gabriel Saucedo and Alberto Martinez. Ken Forsyth, Regional Director, Americas, commented: “Airclaims has been operating in Latin America for over 4 decades and in that time has built a reputation as the market leader. Historically, much of this work would have been undertaken by Airclaims’ North American network, today the company sees increasing demand for local expertise on the ground. In response Airclaims is meeting this demand via continued expansion of the company’s regional footprint. Further recruitment across the Americas is anticipated in the coming months.”

Nigel Minett, Managing Director, commented: “These are the latest steps in a period of sustained international growth for Airclaims, and underpin the company’s position as one of the leading providers of aviation survey and loss adjusting services across the globe. The opportunity to extend Airclaims’ global network was a key factor in the decision to merge with McLarens in 2011. Since then Airclaims has seen significant expansion across the emerging markets; first in the Middle East, opening the company’s regional hub office in Abu Dhabi in 2012, and now in Latin America. Moving forward the long term strategy remains focused on growth in key markets across the globe.”
