Adjuster - Private Clients & Estates - South

Alec Lloyd

Adjuster - Private Clients & Estates - South

Biography

Alec began his claims career at Lansdown Insurance Brokers, now part of The Benefact Group, back in 2010 as a claims executive and went on to spend almost 11 years there across two periods, later progressing to Senior Claims Executive as the team grew.

During the later part of his role there, Alec harboured ambitions to move into the field and so took up a development Adjuster position within the Birmingham general commercial adjusting team at Sedgwicks in 2021.

After a relatively short period there, Alec felt that his progression would be better served at Questgates, having come to know a number of individuals there from his role at Lansdown, and so moved across to their general property division.

Towards the end of his first year, Alec had been assisting the Private Clients division with a number of losses and quickly developed a taste for HNW/large loss and so transferred into the Private Clients team having built a reputation for his particularly detailed report writing and relationship building qualities.

Here he spent almost 2 years dealing with a mix of HNW and major domestic losses, also mentoring more junior Adjusters.

Whilst having enjoyed his work there, in April 2025, Alec joined the Private Clients & Estates division within McLarens, with his desire being to focus exclusively on HNW/UHNW losses, where he feels his developed skills would be best utilised.
