Prior to joining McLarens Singapore in 1998, Amos was employed as a system engineer with a multi-national corporation for three years. His primary role was to provide sophisticated system technical support to users, conduct seminars/ training sessions, responsible for the smooth operation, troubleshooting and rectification of faults for networking systems.
In 1998, Amos joined McLarens and has handled complicated claims matters and was responsible to manage, control, and settle claims for major commercial portfolios.
He had also handled overseas assignments involving fire, flood, machinery breakdown in Indonesia (Kalimantan, Batam), Vietnam, Republic of Maldives (Tsunami losses), Myanmar (Cyclone Nargis), and Cambodia.
He is fluent in English and Mandarin, as well as spoken dialects.
