Andrew Alexander is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 10 years experience in the insurance sector. As a Major Loss Surveyor at McLarens he provides specialist technical support to Adjusters in the Commercial Property, Major Loss and London & International Teams.
Previously, he led design, specification and delivery of insurance reinstatement schemes across, commercial, residential, retail and mixed uses assets, with extensive experience with major and complex losses.
Andrew has previously worked in both private and public sector, most recently holding associate director positions and prior to that head of building consultancy at niche west end practice.
Andrew was deployed internationally in response to the major catastrophe in Jamaica following the passage of Hurricane Melissa in 2025. During this deployment he surveyed he provided technical assistance to adjusting colleagues on agricultural, residential and Construction & Engineering losses whilst also adjusting residential losses.
