Darin Schaefer joined McLarens Aviation in April 2010 from Executive Jets Services in Lagos, Nigeria, where he was a Hawker 1000 captain. He has over two decades of experience covering technical roles at GE Aircraft Engines and Continental Airlines. Darin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. In addition, he has an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate and an Airline Transport Pilot license. He has been flying since the age of 17 and has lived and worked as a pilot in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Africa.
