Emilie started off her claims handling journey in 2022 as an admin at Central Cab Care, a taxi credit hire company. She very quickly progressed into a claims handler, handling the large variety of taxi credit hire claims. After this Emilie moved into working for Sedgwick on their simply business account as a FNOL handler. The responsibilities of this role included lodging all new claims and managing low value business claims including landlord, tradesman and business policies. From here she moved into a Claims handler role at Gallagher Bassett where she worked on local authority and police clients motor claims. The duties included investigating liability, confirming policy coverage, settling claims on best possible terms for the client, managing the repairs through their in house repairers, essentially following every claim from the first review all the way through to final settlement.
