Gezavil (“Aze”) Villegas is the Construction & Bond Department Manager for McLarens Philippines and a licensed Civil Engineer with extensive experience across construction, engineering, and insurance claims. Combining practical construction expertise with specialist loss adjusting knowledge, she leads the delivery of construction and surety-related claims while supporting the continued growth of McLarens’ Construction & Engineering capability in the Philippines.
Prior to joining McLarens, Aze spent eight years working within the construction industry, gaining extensive experience in high-rise building projects, site engineering, project coordination, quantity surveying, and construction operations. This practical engineering background provides a strong technical foundation for the investigation and assessment of complex construction and engineering losses.
Since transitioning into loss adjusting in 2022, Aze has specialised in Construction All Risks (CAR), Erection All Risks (EAR), Property Insurance, and Contractor’s Performance and Surety Bond claims. Her experience spans the investigation, assessment, and management of construction losses arising from typhoon, earthquake, fire, third-party property damage, and other project-related risks across commercial, infrastructure, and large-scale development projects.
Working closely with insurers, contractors, project owners, engineers, brokers, and legal representatives, Aze provides technically sound assessments, practical claim solutions, and transparent stakeholder communication throughout the claims process. She is recognised for her strong technical capability, collaborative approach, and commitment to delivering timely and commercially balanced outcomes on complex construction and engineering assignments.
