Joshua began working in the insurance industry in 2013, obtaining his Producer license in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance.
In 2017 Joshua made the career move into property claims, working as an adjuster throughout Hawaii, as well as jumping at the opportunity to increase his skills working CAT duty in New York for Hurricane Ida. Joshua later parlayed his growing knowledge base into roles for other loss adjusting companies, where he was sought out for his background and technical skills.
Joshua was heavily involved in working losses related to the Lahaina wildfires in 2023, which earned him recognition from management and peers. He has enjoyed sharing his experiences and knowledge as a mentor to younger adjuster, particularly when providing insight for Residential and Commercial Property claims. Josh has been asked to speak at an industry conference previously, as well as helped to develop a successful claims process and strategy for a previous employer.
Born and raised on the Island of Oahu, Joshua graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2012 with a degree in Second Language Studies. Joshua has always understood and appreciated the need for clear and concise communication skills, and that continues to be reflected to this day in the work product that he delivers for clients.
