Biography

Luke is an Executive Adjuster within McLarens’ Major Loss Practice, specialising in the management of complex property damage and business interruption claims, typically valued in excess of £500,000. He regularly undertakes assignments involving high-rise residential blocks, major London office towers, hotels, schools, airports, ports, and large infrastructure projects. His experience spans fire, flood, escape of water, Contractors All Risks and catastrophe-related losses.

A Chartered Loss Adjuster (ACILA, FUEDI-ELAE), Luke combines a strong technical focus with clear, pragmatic communication. He is adept at managing the wide range of stakeholders involved in major losses, including Insurers, brokers, legal advisers, surveyors, forensic specialists and policyholders, ensuring claims are advanced collaboratively and with transparency.

Luke has developed particular expertise in claims impacted by the Building Safety Act, large-scale real estate portfolios, and complex business interruption modelling. He also has a strong interest in forensic investigation, issues of misrepresentation and non-disclosure, and policy/cover interpretation, bringing a detailed and analytical perspective to the adjustment process.

He is also involved in Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and London Business Interruption Association.
