Biography

After qualifying as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Richard began his Loss Adjusting career in 1989, initially with McLaren Dick in Dundee. He gained a broad range of experience handling commercial and domestic property, casualty, BI, CAR, subsidence, Goods in Transit and Building Defects claims.

From 2009 to 2019 he worked as a Major Loss Adjuster/ Surveyor for Cunningham & Lindsey both as Team Leader and providing Surveying Expertise on Major and Complex Loss claims, as well as dealing with CAR and Building Guarantee claims.

Richard has significant experience of CAT claims in UK and abroad, including spells working on multi-million US$ flood and hurricane claims in Thailand and the Caribbean.

Richard is a Member by examination of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
